Patrimonio’s PDO vineyard stretches over seven villages : Patrimonio, Barbaggio, Saint- Florent, Farinole, Oletta, Poggio d’Oletta and Santo-Pietro-di-Tenda. Patrimonio wines were the first Corsican wines to be labelled PDO in 1968. Their success is due to the quality of the soil, made of both limestone and clay, and to the great amount of sunshine per day. Thanks to the sea breeze, the vineyard enjoys optimal conditions.
