The region is well-known for its summer festivals, gathering people of all ages. In July, the main festival is Les Nuits de la Guitare de Patrimonio, whereas in early August the mood changes and Saint-Florent’s citadel welcomes Porto Latino festival with some warm lighting effects on its ramparts.
St. Martin’s day is celebrated on November 11 each year. St. Martin is the patron saint of sharing and abundance, and during the day a religious ceremony celebrates and blesses Patrimonio’s 35 wine-growers.
